@formerwickdgyal My son died almost 8 years ago and I now have his little sister. However, contrary to said beliefs, her presence has not replaced his absence, it sometimes amplifies it. So while my arms are no longer empty, my heart still breaks. Forever Damani's mom 💙

@formerwickdgyal It's ranked as one of the most traumatic experiences, yet it's treated as an afterthought. Because who can fathom that babies do die? And why is it "you can just try again" the response to the devastating grief? So much to unpack.
