@Pengwin4rd@Oswald1160 It's actually not secret, but somewhat complicated so only for those who care.
(Dutch) description for 2016 https://t.co/ElY7CTgzJO
@Pengwin4rd@Oswald1160 Some formula involving distance, time, stops, initial cost, track congestion, track expenses. Etc.
At least in the Netherlands the price calculation has always been hidden, you just ask the machine the price from A to B and it gives one. Nobody cares how it got to that price.
@j_stonemountain @ryanzip@MarkRober To add, it's more that humans can't solve the entire puzzle before moving the pieces around. They have to essentially wing it with a few tricks.
@ActiveTowns I wasn't sure it was you, but seeing on Twitter you're here; just saw you walk by at Utrecht CS. Enjoy the city, the weather might be alright after ~15:00.
@seatsixtyone It seems Stockholm-Narvik trains after the 18th of june are direct again, and bookable, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. But there's some bad reviews about people being left in the cold during breakdowns recently.
@seatsixtyone Hey, do you know whether it's normal for SJ night train tickets to not be bookable even when it's this close? https://t.co/x5BinIAJ5r. Even for the 4th isn't bookable.
@seatsixtyone - The broken track to Narvik, but that will be fixed before the 18th of june
- New booking system, meaning you can only book through them
- New booking system, not allowing you to buy a ticket transferring in Boden but rather separate ones
@heirsjournal But I think what has more impact, is that money gives power, or often comes with power. The causation going either which way.
And that can often affect how someone acts even more. It releases restrictions someone had. Makes them care less about others, as there's less need.
