The embarrassment you get after telling everyone you found a good partner, then they turn out to be an avoidant, switch up on you and break your heart like it's nothing. Is unbelievable.
How to lose me:
1. seen
2. ignored
3. left on read
4. last priority
5. online but not replying
6. only texting when you want something
7. late replies
8. broken promises
Biggest lesson: stop confusing repeated behavior with confusion. People know when they're ignoring you. They know when they're being distant. They know when they're hurting you. Actions are choices. If someone keeps showing you where you stand, stop asking for a different answer.
It's selfish to enter someone's life, see that they're a loving, cheerful, and good person, and decide to ruin their present because you haven't dealt with your own issues. Leave people alone if you have no intention of showing up with sincerity
you can't teach CONSIDERATION. it’s either a person NATURALLY thinks about you and how something will affect your feelings, your comfort, your safety, your peace of mind, and your heart or they DON'T.
cutting people off feels different now. it’s not anger, it’s grief. like dang… I really wanted you here, but your actions showed me I’m not safe with you.
I’ll never ever understand how someone can just wake up one day, switch up & ignore you like you never existed… like you weren’t part of their every single day…
My ex taught me not to love someone too deeply, because the moment you give someone your whole heart, you become blind to the pain they cause. And once they realize how much you love them, they start treating you like you’re stupid enough to stay no matter how badly they hurt you.
