Raila Odinga was a true champion of democracy. A child of independence, he endured decades of struggle and sacrifice for the broader cause of freedom and self-governance in Kenya. Time and again, I personally saw him put the interests of his country ahead of his own ambitions. Like few other leaders anywhere, he was willing to choose the path of peaceful reconciliation without compromising his core values. Through his life, Raila Odinga set an example not just for Kenyans, but across Africa and around the world. I know he will be missed. Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to his family and to the people of Kenya.
@Wesley_Kibande@edwinsifuna My generation consists of learned and well educated people who are all contributing to a better world in Kenya and abroad, unlike you, an irredeemably ignorant fellow with no hope of help.
@Wesley_Kibande@edwinsifuna How does has his attendance prevented him from performing his constitutional duty? Is he the only senator away from the chamber?
He opened his mouth and swore no one has been killed by police since he became President and no one was abducted during the demonstrations, but he started by sending his condolences to the families of those who died in the hands of the police. Gaai. #RevolutionNowOrNever
@omwanza Wakili, can the Returning officer (with respect to presidential elections) verify over 46,000 form 34As, tally them and announce the results within Seven days by himself?
