To see our game featured at this year’s State of Play, alongside so many other titles is a genuinely surreal moment for us. We’re so proud of our team who got us here. Thank you to everyone who kept believing in us, and our vision of #thelostwild
@videogames_EU is hosting a meeting between its members (ie @Ubisoft) and members of the @EU_Commission + @Europarl_EN < 2 weeks before the Commission makes a decision on our Initiative: https://t.co/AJBkveP9xH
We believe this is an attempt to lobby the Commission and we OBJECT!:
The California State Assembly has passed an initial vote for a bill requiring paid games to remain playable after they’re shut down.

The Stop Destroying Videogames ECI has sent a powerful democratic signal. An invitation to OPENLY discuss the future relationship between games industry and its customers. The EU Commission must not fall for what seems to be a covert attempt to stop improvements. SKG open letter:
It's time to raise awareness and share this everywhere.
This will be the decision that will dictate the future of your rights as a consumer, watch this space.
🚨 Today, They Are Meeting Without Us.
🏛️ The @EU_Commission is 2 weeks away from a resolution that could decide the future of game ownership. While we are fighting for the consumer, @videogames_EU is hosting an event 'Games in Europe: Built Here, Played Globally' filled with industry giants and the very policymakers who will decide our fate.
⏰ The timing is just impossible to ignore.
🙌 @StopKilingGames drafted an Open Letter to ensure the industry hears the community’s voice, but we know a letter is only as strong as the people who share it. We would love for you to help bring this into the public eye, in whichever way fits your platform best:

Ubisoft CEO is today having an "invitation-only" meeting with the European Commission, hosted by VGE, 2 weeks before the EC planned answer to our ECI.
SKG was not invited.
Thus, we publish an Open Letter, that we invite everyone of you to read it and share it for visibility.

Video Games Europe lobby group (including Ubisoft) is hosting a discussion on consumer policy on video games with the EU Commission, but no one has been invited to represent consumers. This is likely an attempt to sink the ECI, but we have backup plans.

Currently reading "The Matyr's Tomb".
God I am so sick and tired of SoB and BT. I think it's been 3 books of non stop BT and SoB (maybe more for SoB).
I am so ready for the next book to not have either of them. But I will most likely be disappointed
Stop Killing Games is in trouble. Ubisoft & VGE are holding a private meeting with members of the EU Commission 2 weeks before we should get an answer about SKG. Seeing as how the Commission keeps parroting VGE misinfo this could be REALLY bad for the outcome.
