Ten years later, I realize XEIST was never the company.
It was the standard.
A reminder to become a little better than yesterday.
Every product, every customer, every setback, every win.
There’s always another level of XEIST.
Don’t just exist. XEIST.
I started https://t.co/uLXQtnL3aW on June 16, 2016, 10 years ago today. It still feels like yesterday. I started it in my bedroom at my dad’s place, where we had no heat or hot water at the time. I came up with the word before I had the business plan or idea of what it would be…
I built a multimillion-dollar brand by tricking myself into believing there is always another level to unlock. There’s always another level of XEIST. Ten years in and I still believe my own brainwashing. If you want to accomplish something in this life, you’ve got to believe.
“The greatest people are self-managing. They don’t need to be managed. Once they know what to do, they’ll go figure out how to do it. What they need is a common vision, and that’s what leadership is.”
— Steve Jobs
When you get stagnant, you're usually too focused on the action required and not enough on the feeling of the end result. This keeps you putting things off and not taking action. Care more about the rewards of the end result than the action required. That puts you in a flow state
I'm 3 weeks into building with vibe coding. I get into this flow state and before I know it, it's 4:15 a.m. The things you can build with this are crazy. It just keeps going.
