@_bazztek@Naxshe22 Saying you don’t understand 7R combat without saying it🙄(and ff15 didn't even have party controls until a YEAR after launch, and there’s barely any actual strategy in that game
#NEON keeps beating #A24 in their own game at US #BoxOffice.
With no big names attached and debuting in just 1.076 theatres, #AdrianChiarella’s feature length directorial debut #Leviticus, which #NEON acquired at #Sundance 2026, grossed 2.8M on its 3-day opening weekend, strong $2.6k average per theatre, almost doubling #TheDeathOfRobinHood’s APT this weekend.
Differently from #A24, who paid 4M just for the U.S. distribution rights of #RobinHood, #NEON secured Global rights for Leviticus, paying just slightly more: around 5M. So the award winning studio will have both domestic & overseas grosses to help their investment to pay off.
@KeyJay115@eventualforever NEON only handles US distribution tho, like even if they got the worldwide distribution rights the only thing they can do is sells the rights to international distributors (also they can recoup costs before the movie release same as A24
So regarding the claims that Nomura used A.I to create this artwork, that is not what happened. It seems far more likely that the original artwork was drawn entirely by Nomura, but the version used for box art or promotional material was later upscaled using AI
You can see evidence of this in several places. For example, Donald's left hand is not even visible in the original low resolution artwork (Original artwork). In the upscaled version, however, AI appears to have filled in the missing details and gave him 5 fingers, despite Donald Duck as usually have four fingers
The same issue can be seen with the clock tower's hands. In the original artwork they appear normal, but in the AI upscaled version they become oddly curved and distorted, suggesting that the A.I was attempting to reconstruct details that were unclear in the source image
In short, the original artwork appears to be fully hand drawn by Nomura. The problems people are pointing to are the result of the A.I upscaling that introduced these errors. His art got DLSS 5'ed

@SonicHero3D I think they had to cut back on some stuff to keep the rating at T, Rating systems nowadays are way stricter than 97... I remember some dev mentioned that for the Nibelheim flashbacks in Rebirth, they couldn’t even show villagers shooting guns or the rating would've jumped to M
