Love is like a butterfly, not because it's fragile, but because it's free. It arrives gently, without noise or pressure. It comes quietly when the heart has learned to be still.
A butterfly never lands where there is fear or grasping. It favors calm, openness, and places where nothing is demanded of it.
Similarly, authentic love is not something that can be grasped. It is welcomed when we stop the act of chasing, proving, or defending ourselves, allowing love to feel safe enough to settle on us.
The butterfly reminds us to be patient. It starts its life unnoticed, hidden away, changing quietly. Although no one cheers for its transformation, it never doubts that wings are developing. Similarly, love develops silently and invisibly beneath the surface of the heart.
When love finally comes, it doesn't alter our core. It uncovers our true nature. It reminds us that softness isn't weakness and that gentleness embodies real strength.
A butterfly relies on the air to support it. Love depends on the heart remaining open. Both ask us to release control and let grace take over.
When love touches us, even briefly, we realize something sacred—that beauty shouldn't be grasped too tightly, that simply being present is enough, and that the deepest connections arise not from effort but from surrender.
Love, much like a butterfly, arrives when the soul is prepared. Not before. Not after. Only when the heart has learned to accept.
