he is not top two but he has the highest goal scored in football history, he’s top ten assisters in the game, If a player is top 10 assist maker in history, it automatically means he is a high volume chance creator, with further means his passing is elite to produce that number of chances, which finally means his is an elite passer. he had everything, he could create, could score, he had scary pace, he had the aerial ability, he had weak foot, he had long range goal catalogue, and people really believe he had all these abilities only because of hardwork, he’s the most clutch player in history, he put portugal on the global map there is no portugal without ronaldo, single handedly won 2-3 champions league for real madrid, had the greatest ever individual season in history(2008), dominated 3 out of 5 of the greatest leagues in the world while changing and having to adapt to the style of play of each league and each manager. but yeah ‘alks’ says ronaldo is not t-2 greatest players of all time
mind you most of these guys didn’t watch maradona, pele or crufyy lol, all the rules of today like offside didn’t apply to them so most of pele’s goals are prob all offside
🚨 | Barcelona are interested and have #mufc striker Benjamin Sesko on their list if they are unable to sign Julian Alvarez. They want a striker who is good at linking play, and scoring goals, and Sesko fits that profile. [@marca]
So Mah Bru bro went back to the kitchen and cooked up a new Top 25 South African footballers of all time. 🇿🇦⚽🔥
From the AFCON '96 legends to today's global stars, the talent on this list is undeniable. 👑
But did he cook... or did he overcook? 🍳👀👇
You're mixing up being 'Prem ready' with being 'Prem proven.' 80+ appearances just means he has experience, but being 'proven' means you actually delivered consistent, high-level output at that level. A handful of goals in a relegated Leeds side doesn't prove he can tear up the Prem year in, year out. You’re right that playing in a struggling side is tough, and his 20+ goals in the Championship prove he’s a massive talent who won't be shocked by the top flight's physicality. But whoever signs him is paying for his immense potential, not a guaranteed, proven Prem product. He’s Prem ready, but he still has to prove it.
@Llekamania_@The_Maxxel Then, having "experience" in a league shouldn't be a rebuttal to the original post if we're only going off their talent and their potential scalability at a better club
You need better numbers or a body of work that we can look at in order to consider a prem proven, otherwise I just see u as an okay player nothing more, and going back to the original post if you're consider Foster prem proven than so is Weghorst. This is like saying Richarlison is a Champions league level player cause he played in the competition. We need more tangible evidence before we come to that conclusion
@Llekamania_@The_Maxxel Just because you play in the Prem doesn't necessarily make you Prem proven. He has 12 goals in 89 games. He's had an okay season, that's all. Would you consider Lyle Foster prem proven?
