I love gen z but sometimes I fail to understand their mindset. My little bro was to have an online interview scheduled for 11 a.m. but it unfortunately got cancelled. Later the HR called him at 8:45 p.m, usually he doesn't pick late night calls but he decided to pick that one. The HR said, "Congratulations! We were looking for people who can work around the clock. People who can work late into the night without any push. You have proven that you have this hustler mentality by picking your phone this late and thats what we need. You have the job." Bro asked if that working late night meant paid overtime but the guy said no coz it occurs once in a while. He rejected that job offer saying he can't work where he gets drained and mind you this is someone who has been job hunting for 2 years and has no back up plan
