I wish ppl could understand the extent to which having undiagnosed adhd for so many years affects us. It makes relationships rly fuckin hard on so many levels & we’re rly fuckin trying bt it looks like we dont give a shit bt that’s bc we’re trying SO hard not to LASH THE FUCK OUT

@lucy_jca Funilly enough I think that being a kid and thinking that everyone struggled the same way I did, made it easier. It wasn't until adulthood that I noticed others handling things I couldn't, and it made it harder to keep going. Feelings of failure make it harder to mask!

@NotLaja Plus you never know what ppl have been thru. Investing ur last pennies only to have it fail & face serious financial consequences LITERALLY causes trauma, that shit rewires ur brain. Its NOT simple to undo that shit. It can be panic inducing thinking abt investing & failing again

@crcampbell1999 @grumpyshrubbery Did you request for it to be recorded before the assessment? If not, please DO NOT tell the tribunal people that you have a recording. It will be dismissed + you might get trouble for recording without permission!

@Euronymooose @grumpyshrubbery When it comes to the actual assessment, if you find a telephone assessment difficult, you should be able to request a face to face appointment or a video assessment depending on where you live and what company is doing the assessment :) 2/2

Also, if you have a condition which makes physically filling in the form difficult, you can request the forms be emailed to you instead!

@crcampbell1999 @grumpyshrubbery You should ask for a recorded assessment if you need to be reassessed again. That way you can back up what you actually said in your assessment if it goes to tribunal.
