I recently saw a pastor make a passive aggressive post about the emotional needs of women. The pastor went on to say (when asked) that “it’s hard to say” what’s meant by the term “emotional needs” but that “people sure talk about them a lot.”
A man who mocks women, or pretends he doesn’t know what your emotional needs are, is revealing his own insecurity and emotional stuntedness.

Women need husbands who can live with us in an understanding way. He needs to practice shalom—peace. This looks like active pursuit of your heart—an entering into your world in a way akin to the way Jesus entered into this world to redeem His Bride.
