@osu45804 It probably has something to do with the fact that Teams don’t have to honor contracts, or else guaranteed money wouldn’t be a thing. If a team can sign a players to a 4-year contract, but cut a player after 2 years, then why would Chase accept 1 million when he could make 40mil?
