Murkomen is insulting me because l ruined their plans, saying he'll throw me in a cell.l have slept in a cell many times. He thinks threatening someone like me with jail is a big deal. Kenyan prison cells don't scare me, they're like hotels these days. l am a child of the Mau Mau, lock me up if you want, but you'll never change my stand.- Rigathi Gachagua

This reminded me of Danstan Omari in the matter of the Republic Vs Mokaya.
" My Lord, can the I.O inform the court which William Ruto is in the casket or which William Ruto is the complainant?"
I.O: My lord the post says President William Ruto. There's only one President William Ruto my lord.
Omari: A President is a wording used to refer to the head of an institution. My boss at LSK is also a President.
I.O: But your honor in this situation we are talking about President William Ruto.
Omari: Even the Managing Director of Kenya Ports Authority is called William Ruto. He is the President of Kenya Ports Authority. Are you aware about that?
I.O: I am not aware your honour.
Omari: So who is the complainant?
I.O: The complainant is the ODPP
Omari: The ODPP cannot be the prosecutor and the complainant at the same time.
Bwana the I.O was sweating and regretting his life.
I should write a play on interesting court arguments I have witnessed since 2024.

White smoke is beginning to billow from Western Kenya.
During a press briefing today, following a strategy meeting held at the home of Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, Luhya leaders allied to Linda Mwananchi announced a political roadmap for Western Kenya ahead of the 2027 General Election.
As part of that roadmap, they announced that a new political party will soon be unveiled to carry the movement’s vision.
Governor Natembeya announced that the roadmap will begin with a major Linda Mwananchi rally in Trans Nzoia on 25th July, followed by the mother of all rallies in Bungoma County on 26th July, where Edwin Sifuna will be crowned the Luhya leader before being released to focus on his national campaign.
Further, Natembeya said he will thereafter lead political engagements across all 38 constituencies in Western Kenya in his capacity as the coordinator of the movement’s political activities in Sifuna’s Mulembe backyard.
The leaders present also declared Sifuna as their 2027 presidential candidate.
The World Bank has given Kenya more than 10 conditions before it can access the next round of loans.
Here are 10 of the main conditions explained in simple terms.

I haven't stopped thinking about a brilliant little girl named Faith that I met outside the Malawian consulate in Joburg.
She was born in South Africa but her whole family is undocumented. Her dad - a gardener - said they were kicked out of their house and he lost his job
South Sudan has warned Kenyan oil companies against importing fuel outside its G-to-G fuel deal.
This comes after authorities flagged illegal fuel shipments from the Port of Mombasa into the country.
Kenyans should start owning guns, if anyone had a gun here he would have felled these petty thieves, we cant be this helpless and 'always wait for the police to investigate'
"This is Kahia Village in Ol Kalou. The lorries carrying electricity poles from the government have just arrived. It must be a miracle that by Monday, the electricity will have been installed." — MP Wanjiku Muhia
The drivers delivering the poles are saying, "Wantam! Sisi tuko kazi. Tukimaliza, tunarudi Wantam."
