@ChinasaTOkolo, is a Fellow at The Brookings Institution focused on AI governance and policy in the Global South. She completed her PhD in Computer Science at Cornell University in 2023.

At Brookings, Chinasa's research explores the promise of human-centred AI by examining how African governments can enable effective AI governance, investigating the impact of data work in the Global South, and analyzing datafication and algorithmic marginalization in Africa.
She is a Drafting Member, Nigeria National AI Strategy, Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy. She is also an Expert Contributing Writer, International Scientific Report on the Safety of Advanced AI at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute.

Chinasa is an avid reader, globetrotter, startup advisor, (micro)-investor in early-stage tech startups and a member of HoaQ Club.
