Pink will open the #Tonys with a "seven and a half minute" musical number written by “Dear Evan Hansen,” “La La Land” and “The Greatest Showman” songwriters Pasek and Paul.
“It’s gonna be raucous and wild and ridiculous. It’s sort of a throwback, but not really. There’s gonna be like 170 people onstage with me, and I get to be ridiculous and make fun of myself right away, which was my one rule.”

You ever feel like you’re where you wanna be, and who you wanna be, and doing what you always said you would, and yet you feel you haven’t won at all???
And this is why Broadway will always be superior to West End because what do you mean I have to BUY a program if I wanna take my silly little pre-show picture?
some people just don’t understand the cultural significance of a photo taken of your hand holding your theatre programme or playbill with the stage out of focus in the background.
@BuckleUpShipman Having sat in some of those £15 seats, the sight lines usually are not much better 😂. Come at Broadway for our prices, totally fair, but all in all our sight lines are so much better than west end theaters tbh
@OfficialPenneth I simply need you to realiZe that Americans and Brits spell some words differently, and that’s okay! As for the word “programme” that last “-me” is completely pointless and you cannot convince me the British spelling is better
@strictlymiaa Broadway ticket prices are absolutely an issue, but I actually do prefer Playbills for the pre-show pic just due to their smaller size. West End programs are really nice souvenirs, but some of them are just so massive and their non-standard sizing really annoys me haha
@Tinnymedia Yes our tickets are more expensive, and that’s a whole other issue, but Playbills are completely free and provided to shows at 0 cost to them. Playbill themselves cover the cost of printing and distribution, and make that money back through selling ad space!
@scotsuktheatre This is simply not true, Playbills are completely free and provided to shows at 0 cost to then. Playbill themselves cover the cost of printing and distribution, and make that money back through selling ad space!
@eurydaisies On Broadway a lot of shows will have both, which feels like the best of both worlds. A free playbill with the core info about the show you’re about to watch, and then a paid program that’s nicer quality, with color photos and has a lot more about the show.
@thatdorrk It’s also just weird to me to say “I did everything I could to make sure this didn’t happen again” when in reality all he did was cross his fingers a fan vote went his way lol
