Throw that Toxic faculty out from the department and make sure he/she face the law !
Dear residents of SNMC , Jodhpur
It would be a shame if this doctor doesn’t get justice and you remain quite in this incident .
Protest for your rights and for justice 🙏🏼
Let's make crusader @visrane famous, he calls our honorable Prime minister @narendramodi ji his guru but doesn't follow the humility and decorum he maintains in public sphere.
A patient arrived at GMC Goa demanding a Vitamin B12 injection. B12 is not an emergency and can be taken anywhere, even with a slight delay. Allegedly, the CMO advised the patient to visit a CHC.
It turned out the patient was a relative of a journalist with direct access to Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, sparking a commotion.
Rane stormed into the OPD like a low-budget Bollywood cop, dragging his staff and camera crew. He publicly humiliated the CMO—a respected doctor with years of service and teaching experience—threatened them in front of juniors, and suspended them on the spot without listening.
Does Rane dare claim he "fought for the poor"? Please! No poor person has direct access to call a minister. Media reports confirm the patient was a journalist’s relative, not a marginalized individual struggling for access.
Even if the doctor erred, official procedure—investigation, notice, response, hearing—should be followed, not street-level antics. Governance should maintain dignity, not turn into a media circus.
This isn’t done @DrPramodPSawant ji Such behavior isn’t expected from elected representatives working with you.

#WATCH | Panaji, Goa: On Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, Goa Congress President Amit Patkar says, "...He just barged into the Medical College, and humiliated the doctor. Today, across the country, we are seeing doctors under threat. Doctors have been attacked. There is no protection for doctors, and here we see a BJP minister, who is the Health Minister, walking into an emergency ward of a Goa Medical College. I think such ministers should be immediately sacked... The IMA, the Federation of Indian Medical Association, has already written to the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister, and the Union Health Minister, condemning this act of the minister. They have demanded that an inquiry be set up on this minister. They have also given a deadline of 72 hours. If the government fails to take any action, then the Federation of Indian Medical Association have declared that there'll be a nationwide protest."
🚨BREAKING: Resident doctors of Goa have given a 48 hour ultimatum to the Health Minister, otherwise GARD will go on indefinite strike!
Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane tried to give a political masterclass at Goa Medical College (GMC) yesterday following the 2 Rs toolkit for cheap political publicity:
1. March into a casualty ward with your camera crew.
2. Bark orders at the doctor on call.
3. Declare yourself the people’s messiah.
But he forgot that doctors have had enough of this political hooliganism!
Resident doctors of Goa have now given a 48 hour ultimatum to the Health Minister, otherwise the poor people of his state will have to suffer if GARD goes on strike!
🚨 For those unaware, here’s what has happened in the last 24 hours:
A doctor at Goa Medical College Casualty has become a scapegoat, all thanks to Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane. In a shocking viral video likely spearheaded by his PR Team, Rane stormed into the hospital camera crew in tow and publicly humiliated and suspended the doctor, simply for following established medical protocol by refusing a routine Vitamin B12 injection in casualty.
To gain cheap publicity, the minister arrogantly shouted at the doctor:
✅“Put your hands down!”
✅“Lower your mask!” (despite ongoing COVID threats)
✅“I’ll suspend you for two years!”
Here’s the reality: Vitamin B12 injections aren’t emergencies. Casualties are meant for urgent, life-threatening cases, not political video-ops.
The moment that video hit social media and gained public criticism instead of applause, Rane’s PR team aka “political chappris started damage control.
A carefully vetted, hypocritical apology followed, pretending concern and empathy. This isn’t compassion. It’s political hooliganism. Such stunts steadily erode public trust in doctors. It’s not just wrong, it’s dangerous and we cannot take this lightly.
The Goa Association of Resident Doctors (GARD) has issued a powerful 48-hour ultimatum demanding:
✅ Immediate revocation of the suspension with fair inquiry.
✅ Public apology by Minister Rane.
✅ Ban on filming inside emergency patient-care areas.
✅ End of VIP culture & political bullying in hospitals.
If demands aren’t met: GARD goes on indefinite strike.
Rane’s actions are calculated abuses of power. Ministers must remember they’re elected to serve, not intimidate.
Hooliganism belongs on the streets, not in hospitals. If Rane has any decency left, he must immediately resign or issue an unconditional apology.
We must stand together as doctors, patients and citizens against this dangerous political circus destroying country’s healthcare system and show these miscreants the place where they actually belong!
Our politicians will never do anything to fix the shortages in the hospitals. But are always eager to misbehave with doctors to gain brownie points.
I hope Goa medicos takes a strong stance in dealing with this menace.
