#onepiece1180 I find it so interesting that Imu(or this transformation) is an almagamation of many cultures/races. Oni horns, Lunarian wings, Buri religion white dots, biblical angel hagoromo ring cloud, Ne Zha inspired weapons, with potential for more. (1/?)

Actually, the 5 Elders more closely match the Cherubim, as they’re more related to knowledge, sit inside of Mary Geoise near the Room of Flowers, and have Yokai transformations like the cherubim’s are depicts as 4 faced: Human/Lion/Ox/Eagle. They also act as vessels for Imu.
