Here's an early WIP look at one of the interior levels for my first game! Still a lot of work to do but I'm happy with the progress!
Need to create a few more custom assets for lore reasons but things are starting to come together!

Well 2026 is here and it’s been a while since I’ve last posted here.
I’m happy to say that game development has been moving steadily. Had a short break over Christmas and I’m back at it tomorrow!
Gonna start posting updates again soon but only at major milestones.
Getting back into Gamedev soon.
Took a break while I was in the US and taking up more jobs to keep myself afloat financially.
Plans are in place and can't wait to execute!

Although I haven’t really used TikTok, it’s a shame that it’s gone in the US.
The ban doesn’t affect me in the UK but I’m sure a lot of people had positive experiences using the app and that some even relied on it for their business and it’s crazy that that is just gone now.

Enemy NPCs now have perception!
They can now make actions based on sight, hearing and damage!
When investigating the location of a sound, they'll have a look and then go back to their previous task!
Can't wait to expand this further!

Here's a little preview of what I have for NPC AI so far!
He can patrol and can change states from passive to hostile.
Next up is creating AI perception so I can eventually set up the NPC to be able to swap states without my input!

Not many things to update on for gamedev rn.
I'll be making enemy AI for a while but will show progress when I reach milestones!
It's my least favourite thing to set up but feels amazing when it just works.

2024 has been a rollercoaster.
I started @BlueCorvusGames and slowly making my dream a reality.
I also lost people I cared about deeply, but I’m pushing on. I went back to the gym and now I’m getting healthier and happier by the day.
Bring it on 2025, I’m ready this time.
Status effects from spells are now functional!
There are still a couple of bugs to fix but the core of it is working nicely.
Going to iron out the bugs and then add more status effects for other spells too!

Adding on from this, the groundwork for ranged combat is done!
This means I'll be adding bow+arrow and spellcasting based combat to the game and will hopefully have it working tomorrow!
