@jessica_barberi When we had our second kid I just took over putting the 2 year old to sleep and putting her back to bed. With our third on the way, it'll be the same plan, wife takes care of the newborn and I'll take care of the 4 and 1.5 year old. Works pretty well for us.
I've been a little MIA on SFF twitter. But the good news is that I have recently received a sizable grant that allows me to travel the US and start a documentary production. It's been a little busy.
Public schools should just be defunded entirely. The more money we put into education the dumber children have gotten and they've suffered more mentally, emotionally, and physically. Parents need to take on the responsibility of educating their children.
Public schools should be fully funded so teachers earn a minimum of $80,000, kids get free breakfast and lunch, and classrooms have new books and technology. If that means taxing the ultra-rich into oblivion... even better.
The United States was obviously founded by Christian peoples with Christian morals. By just logical reasoning you can say that the US was founded by the Christian religion. The beauty of it, is that it wasn't made just for Christians but for all of God's people.
Hello @mojang@minecraft@Microsoft this image confuses me and makes me think less of Minecraft and Mojang as a brand. I will never be purchasing any Minecraft or Mojang related merchandise or watching any Minecraft related media because of this image.
The Game Awards 2025:
E33 robbed Best Independant Game from the indies
E33 robbed Best Debut Indie Game from Blue Prince
E33 robbed Best RPG from KCD II
E33 robbed Best Narrative from Silent Hill f
E33 robbed Best Art Direction from Silksong or Hades II
…
KCD2 was clearly robbed for RPG of the year. TGA is, like almost all award shows, is a joke that's all about virtue signalling. KCD2 aren't upset because they didn't win GOTY. They are upset because they look around the room and know they made the superior RPG and still lost.
One typically American thing I dislike: many people show up places (the airport, a grocery store, a gas station) wearing their pajamas. I had never seen that anywhere else until I came to America. I find it distasteful and unhygienic, among other things.
That said, I'd rather see 10000 people dressed in pajamas than have them dress up because a government bureaucrat dictated it. A bureaucrat's mere *suggestion* of a dress code is un-American.
"Eating food was a pagan tradition" is such a wild and hilarious claim. Other pagan traditions I assume could be breathing air and going to the bathroom.
Now that I have toddlers, I have turned into an ole slipper wearer at all time in my house. I have stepped on one too many mystery squishy food items or sharp cornered toys.
@NoahRayWrites It's crazy because when the government first announced the link, Tylenol released a statement basically saying, "Oh! Yeah if you're pregnant definitely don't use Tylenol, it probably does give autism." So now I feel like Tylenol doesn't test anything lmao
It was an incredible honor to be able to celebrate Mass with many of the US Bishops in Baltimore. It was great to spend time and chat with many of them over the couple of days that I attended the USCCB assembly.
