I will never stop hating on you, I refuse to live in the dystopian future you're trying to build never..., , we will never shut up about this,
bring physical discs back
-J'ai vidé ma liste de souhaits.
-Je ne jouerai plus à un jeu multiplaforme sur PS5.
Si Sony et PlayStation ne veulent plus des disques 💿, c'est qu'ils ne veulent plus de moi, Tchao.
Despite all the negative reactions I've received over this discussion, let me make one thing clear.
I'm not paid by Sony. I'm not paid by Valve. I'm not paid by anyone.
I'm simply looking at the data and the direction I believe the industry is heading.
Even though I do all my gaming digitally, I still don't want physical games to disappear.

Some people love collecting. Some enjoy walking into a store on release day. Some like lending games to friends or keeping them on a shelf for years. Those experiences are worth preserving.
Happy gaming, everyone. 🎮❤️
Your reminder that:
-Sony is lying about the numbers
-You can cancel your GTA 6 digital preorder without consequence (and reorder anytime)
-It's not all about you. The community cares. So should you.
-Boycott all things Sony. Cancel PS+

Daily post that @Sony and @PlayStation don't care about the their most loyal customers that have supported them for years.
For digital only, players this switch to digital only will affect you too. Just check digital prices compared to Amazon physical game prices. Big difference
Few things I learned from two days of arguing with PlayStation digital bros:
They're unaware games existed before the internet
They trust corporations with their money
They can't understand loss of ownership trends
They don't understand the financial impact no discs brings
Tbh I’ve always preferred digital, because if I travel for work I don’t have to worry about my games CD cases etc.. but removing this option for people who literally have a disc console and for generations they’ve only ever purchased disc games?!
IS FOUL! 😔

Don't give up!
We saw the news about Sony repurposing their Austrian disc factory. They are hell-bent on killing ownership. Be the counterforce!
Voice your opinion!
Don't support their all-digital push!
Abandon services that exploit you!
Show them what they'll lose!
EVERYONE should be signing and resharing this!
LBG isn’t throwing in the towel yet, nor are the countless publishers, retailers, developers & distributors that are unifying behind the scenes right now. https://t.co/964EkMOzUC
I bought a PS5 just to keep pursuing my passion for modding.
I waited 6 years before getting one.
And honestly? Starting from the next console generation, I don’t think I’ll be buying another Sony console.
To me, physical media was one of the few things that still made consoles feel meaningful compared to a PC. It meant ownership, collecting, freedom to buy, sell, lend, and preserve games.
If you take that away too, what’s left?
A crippled PC.
A closed ecosystem.
A monopolistic store where you can only buy what Sony decides to sell you, at the price Sony decides, under Sony’s rules.
At that point, just save your money and buy a computer.
At least there you have control, freedom, modding, real backward compatibility, alternative stores, and hardware that isn’t sold as gold years after release.
Over the past 6 years, Sony has sold 2019 hardware as if it were revolutionary, pushed services, remasters, remakes, higher prices, and an increasingly poor first-party lineup.
Continuing to fund this direction, in my opinion, is a mistake.
Consoles made sense when they offered simplicity, physical media, exclusives, and identity.
If they’re just going to become closed PCs, then you might as well buy a real PC.
