Scottish Listed Buildings: It's Category Not Grade
@Its_Category
In Scotland, listed buildings have Categories, not Grades.
So it's Category A, B or C, NOT Grade A, B or C.
It's surprising how many people don't know that.
There’s no such thing as a Grade 2 listed building in Scotland - we have Categories of listing, not Grades. The building that burnt down was Category B. Find out more about the different categories & what they represent:

The Forsyth building, an iconic Grade-B listed structure in the heart of Glasgow, has been burnt to the ground, after a fire started in a nearby vape shop.
A historic building has been completely destroyed as a direct result of third-world invaders selling dodgy vapes under the counter.
British heritage destroyed, all for the sake of Muhammad and Umar making a couple of quid. They must all leave.
@severincarrell@scotgov Perhaps you could please correct the article - Lion Chambers is a *Category* A listed building- we don’t use Grades in Scotland.
