me watching people my age find love and build the life they always wanted while i’m just here learning lessons and unlearning trauma patterns wondering when it’ll be my turn
How life feels when you leave the past behind.
Sometimes you have to lose the old life to find a new one. Starting over is scary, but so is staying stuck.
I had so much to tell you
but every time I tried
the words stayed inside
and the moment passed by
Now I have learned to stay quiet
not because I have nothing to say
but some feelings feel heavier
when never understood
I still remember what we had
but I no longer ask why it ended
some endings hurt quietly
and take time to leave
One harsh lesson I've learned in life: don't build your dreams around someone else's standards. People judge by looks, status, money, background, and social standing, and sometimes even years of love can't overcome those differences
Move on… da, I'm not like you. I didn't love her for her status, looks, colour, body, or what she could give me. I loved her soul, her character, her innocence, and the person she was. We spent literally six years together six years of love, trust, care, growing together, supporting each other's careers, planning our future, and building our dreams brick by brick. I genuinely believed we were building a life together, not just passing time.
And then, in the end, everything changed. The future I spent six years imagining with her suddenly disappeared, and I'm expected to simply move on. How? I'm not trying to forget a few months of memories. I'm trying to accept the loss of six years of my life, the person I loved, the dreams we built, and the future I genuinely believed was ours. 💔
