Did you know that the Tankas/Nsamansaman collapsed because the gov't stopped the assemblies and gave that contract to Zoomlion?
They used to enforce sanitation bylaws and ensure that every shopkeeper kept their surroundings and drains clean.
Then Zoomlion took over that deal.
“Ghana, we have a big problem”
— A Ghanaian man has raised concerns after showing how an individual packed blocks in a gutter to create a private passage for his car in front of his house, blocking the free flow of water and potentially causing flooding during heavy rains.

If you’re a citizen of Ghana and Bus Stop Boys is a registered private limited liability company that seeks to privately offer shares to some people, how much will you be willing to invest in Bus Stop Boys knowing if managed properly they can be a massive sanitation company.
The sanitation guards popularly known as "Tankas" were brought back to help keep our communities clean and enforce sanitation laws.
They started with GHS 70 a month in 2008. In 2012, it increased to just GHS 100 - and many say they were hardly paid at all.
Unable to survive on such meagre and irregular allowances, many abandoned the job.
Yet in 2022, Zoomlion received more than GHS 37 million to manage and pay the sanitation guards.
Today, clogged drains, choked gutters and devastating floods have become a familiar sight across Ghana.
Kumasi traders were not willing to partake in the national sanitation day until the military arrived. Since the DCEs/MCEs are ineffective, let’s give the job to the armed forces for just a month. Things will change.

I hope that Paraguay woman that racially abused Mbappe knows what’s coming for her and makes sure that her lawyers have their own lawyers 😂
Because Kylian is Macron’s baby,
And the French government will do everything in their power to protect their priced jewel.
