@hollywoodsbndit@insomniacyak@jmil236@KenHeLive They would’ve won in 5 against a fully healthy heat too.
It took jimmy b playing out of his mind+green missing a wide open clutch 3 for them to force a game 6
Victor Wembanyama (in French) is asked what he is looking to improve on over the summer:
🇫🇷: Victor, after these Finals, what do you want to improve the most this summer? On the court or off the court, what area of improvement have you identified for yourself before next season?
👽: I'm going to work even harder, obviously, to be even more durable and, above all, to keep a fresh mind and maintain control of the game at all times. That's what really stands out about Jalen Brunson, for example. There are too many moments—and it doesn't come from bad intentions—but there are too many moments where I'm passive, where I don't have the control over the game that I'd like to have, and it ends up costing us.

@nahdo4_@snohsidepiece@itooo_1 Wemby needs a better post game to slow the game down for himself and he’ll be fine.
All the effort he spends defensively+running around like a guard just burns too much energy
I swear for as long as I can remember the old head tough guys would rant “the NBA is so soft. they’re all too buddy buddy. where did all the rivalries go”
Wemby comes along slinging beef & making imaginary enemies, it’s been nothing but those same guys crying their eyes out about it. He’s everything you claim to miss from the 90s man
@ShannonSharpe Is it possible it’s because he’s 7’5? So moving around the way he does requires more effort.
Also he was on minutes restriction this year because of blood clots
Take away Babe Ruth's rings, he was still the best player of his era with amazing playoff efficiency.
Take away Michael Jordan's rings, he was still the best player of his era with amazing playoff efficiency.
Take away LeBron James' rings, he was still the best player of his era with amazing playoff efficiency.
Take away Wayne Gretzky's rings, he was still the best player of his era with amazing playoff efficiency.
Take away Tom Brady's rings, he becomes arguably the 5th best QB of his era with mediocre playoff efficiency & multiple cheating scandals.
@ChyoPads@SpursReporter I can agree social media exaggerating the issue, but to say it was a complete non-issue is disingenuous and definitely not an objective take lol.
@GhostZapper64@MacePatterson@LakeShowYo Wemby is averaging 27.5 and 10.5 with 3.5 blocks. You can feel however you want but nobody else on the spurs has outperformed him.
Don’t forget he’s only 22 and it’s his first playoff run. His issue more than anything is his age and experience is showing.
