EXCLUSIVE: I've obtained a detailed account from the attorney representing Jose Mejia Hernandez, a man who says he was violently apprehended, hospitalized with a brain bleed, and held by ICE with almost no communication to his own family for three days.

On the morning of August 11, at around 6:30 a.m., Mejia Hernandez was walking to work when a truck sped up on him and two men jumped out and ran toward him. Scared and not knowing who they were, he ran. While fleeing, he says he was hit with what he believes was a stun gun or Taser. He has no memory of anything after that, not how he was injured, not how he was transported, nothing, until he woke up in a hospital many hours later with serious facial injuries consistent with blunt force trauma.

According to his attorney, two ICE agents stayed at his bedside the entire time he was hospitalized. He was never given a private moment with his own doctors. When he asked the ICE agents what happened to him, they told him they didn't know. He says hospital staff seemed reluctant to speak openly in front of the agents, and that medical staff appeared to communicate more with ICE than with him directly. A nurse eventually told him quietly, in Spanish, that he'd suffered a brain bleed and brain swelling, but he says he never got a full explanation of his diagnosis or how he got hurt.

Meanwhile, his wife and stepchild had no idea where he was for about three days. Neither DHS nor the hospital, according to his lawyer, ever notified his family that he'd been detained, injured, or hospitalized.

When ICE decided to discharge him, he says he didn't even understand he was being released. He was driven from the hospital, given food and told to contact his family, then taken to an ICE office where they strapped a GPS ankle monitor on him and handed him a Notice to Appear.

By Friday he felt significantly worse and went back to the hospital, where he was again diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and brain bleed and stayed for two more days. His lawyer says doctors couldn't even complete the imaging they needed because of the ankle monitor. When he later went to his ISAP appointment still in pain, dizzy, with doctors saying he needed an MRI, ICE reportedly refused to remove the monitor unless he could produce a specific MRI appointment date and time, forcing him to bounce back and forth between the hospital and immigration offices just to get basic care while suffering from a brain injury.

His attorney is now demanding a full accounting: who was involved, what force was used, why his family wasn't notified, why ICE was reportedly more involved in his medical communications than he was, and preservation of every record, custody log, and communication tied to this case. Mejia Hernandez still needs an MRI and further evaluation for a serious neurological injury.

Whatever force agents used was so significant that his brain has blocked all memories of the trauma.

Officer kept pulling hair after she was handcuffed—pulled 6 dreadlocks out from her scalp.

All charges were dropped—there was no reason for arrest in first place.

Evidently an older couple had called 911 to complain about something they were doing at the city's public swimming pool.

The name of the officer involved has not been released.

Janiaca Wheeler and her daughter, Amaiyah Allen-Smith, filed a formal complaint with the department alleging excessive force.

🚨 “Friends” allegedly got a Black girl with epilepsy so drunk she blacked out — they brutally beat her and threatened to kill her.

According to the victim, the girls invited her over knowing she had epilepsy and mental health issues.

They got her extremely drunk until she blacked out.

She says she has no memory of the night and couldn’t press charges at the time because there was no proof until this video came out.

They called her a friend while using her vulnerabilities against her.

16-year-old Sasha Meuchel was last seen on May 18, 2026, around 12:20 a.m. leaving her grandmother's home in Baytown, Texas. Surveillance footage shows her leaving with a handful of belongings before walking out of view.

According to her mother, Sasha has never gone missing before, and there has been no communication from her since she disappeared. Authorities believe she may be in the Houston area.

Teenager kidnapped in Chicago 4 years ago is found alive, leaving a trail of mystery.

Nineteen-year-old Joniah Walker, who vanished at age 15 from a Chicago movie theater on June 23, 2022, was found alive in Blacksburg, Virginia, after being held captive for four years. Law enforcement officials announced the breakthrough following a 911 domestic disturbance call that led to her self-identification and rescue. Her captor, 37-year-old Owen Anderson, has been arrested and charged in Wisconsin with kidnapping by deceit, child abduction, and child enticement.

Anderson began communicating online with Joniah when she was just 12 years old, eventually grooming and blackmailing her.

In June 2022, Anderson arranged and paid for an Uber to transport Joniah from her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to a movie theater in Chicago, Illinois.

Upon her arrival, Anderson confiscated and disposed of both her personal cell phone and a burner phone he had previously mailed to her.

Anderson took her to his home in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she was subjected to physical and sexual abuse for four straight years.

Chicago teen shares his experience in ICE detention centers:

I am 18 years old and I just graduated from high school in Chicago. I was in ICE detention for 2 months and 10 days. On March 17, my mother and I were at our ICE check-in appointment. My mother and I were separated for 2 months. They kept me in solitary for 2 days for no reason, alone in a room with just a toilet. At some places we were strip searched. We ate horrible food and it made us sick. They never let us go outside.

A Detroit woman deposited $50 into BetMGM and turned it into $3.3 MILLION over six days. The casino paid her $100,000, congratulated her, then suspended her account and kept the rest. She spent four years fighting through every court in Michigan just to get her day in court. She still does not have the money.

– Jacqueline Davis deposited $50 into her BetMGM account on March 18 2021 and started playing a game called Luck O' the Roulette.

– Her first bet was $4.50. She lost it.

– She kept playing and over the next six days the Michigan Supreme Court later described what happened as "a heater of epic magnitude."

– As her winnings grew she pressed her bets higher.

– By March 23 she was wagering $5,000 per spin.

– Her account balance reached $3,289,500.75.

– She requested a $100,000 withdrawal.

– BetMGM approved it by email. A VIP host called to discuss transferring such a large amount off the platform. They congratulated her on her winnings.

– The next day her account was suspended for unusual activity.

– BetMGM's investigation found a software malfunction had started on her 28th play.

– Win amounts were being multiplied when transferred from the game screen to her wallet.

– They said her account should have read zero by play 368. They removed the game from Michigan entirely.

– Davis sued for fraud and breach of contract.

– The Wayne Circuit Court dismissed her case.

– The Court of Appeals upheld the dismissal. Both courts said Michigan gaming law gave the regulator exclusive jurisdiction over such disputes.

– The Michigan Gaming Control Board investigated.

– They found BetMGM had violated rules by failing to report the malfunction promptly and not cooperating fully with the investigation. Took no disciplinary action anyway.

– Davis appealed all the way to the Michigan Supreme Court.

– On July 22 2025 all seven justices ruled unanimously she has the right to take BetMGM to trial. The case was sent back to Wayne Circuit Court.

– That trial has not happened yet. It is now 2026 and she is still waiting.

– BetMGM has not commented.

A woman turned $50 into $3.3 MILLION, was congratulated by the casino's VIP team, had her account frozen the next day, lost in two courts, won at the Supreme Court, and is still waiting for a trial five years later.

An 11 year old girl committed suicide after being bullied by kids at her school who told her they were going to call ICE to take her parents away so she would be all alone. 11 years old. Those children saw a Hispanic girl at their school and bullied her with the racist remarks they learned from their parents. Now a child is dead and a family is forever traumatized.

The school knew about the bullying but never informed her parents. They only found out about it after she had already passed and investigators informed them.

I will never understand how anyone could be so cruel to support an organization that is tearing families apart. This poor girl lived in fear thinking she was going to lose her family. The sick thing is I doubt the parents of those bullies even cared because that is the behavior they taught their children. Fuck ICE and fuck everyone who supports this.

Staci Turner, the Chief Medical Examiner in Mississippi, needs to be investigated & every case she has ruled accidental, undetermined, or suicide involving Black people needs to be reexamined immediately.

Trey Reed was found hanging at the Delta State college campus. She ruled his death a suicide. But an independent investigation ruled it homicide after discovering blunt force trauma and bruising all over his body.

She ruled Nolan Wells death a drowning almost immediately after receiving his body. The Wells Family has since requested an independent investigation.

She ruled Damion Cameron’s death undetermined after a deadly confrontation with law enforcement left him with internal neck bleeding.

Shannon Wilson was embalmed without his family’s permission. Destroying evidence that could have proven he was murdered.

When I make posts about institutional racism. This is a shining reminder of what it looks like.
