Honest Review of Diljit’s Concert: Diluminati
(From a fan who’s played his playlist hundreds of times)
Disclaimer: Review of the Gold tickets experience, Delhi Concert, October 26, 2024 (₹42k for 3 tickets)
Highlights:
The crowd was fantastic, he performed live, brought his signature charm, and even gifted his jacket and a Mokobara bag from the stage.
Poor part: Scope of improvement
The stage presence could have been way better. He frequently turned his back from the audience, and there was no grand opening act or intermission coverage. The concert was blank for 20min during intermission. 100s of small artists would die to cover that silence. Taylor swift changes clothes while dancers are dancing in front, Diljit couldnt wear one jacket in 20min?!
The concert lacked a grand entrance-no crane lift, popping up, or dramatic stage rise, and the ending, too, missed the spectacular flair one might expect, like having a large crew finale consisting at least 50-80 dancers around him.
Only around 10-20 dancers supported him on stage.
Comparison with Other Artists:
In terms of concert production, Diljit falls short compared to international performers I’ve seen. Even local artists like King and Raftaar put on a more visually engaging show with stronger stage presence and way more confetti and stage props.
Overall:
Diljit Dosanjh concert definitely needs some refinement in its stage production. However, his charm, the crowd energy, and his incredible voice remain truly magical.
So are we gonna normalise punching people for making fun of box office failures? @rickygervais you better host the next golden globes from inside a glass chamber

Also congratulations to Anuradha Paudwal for managing to get a shit ton of royalties for her bhajans from an Atheist.
Now let me go and figure out how clever God actually is...
@alcarazcarlos03 you beauty!! Regardless of the outcome, I'll remember this match as the day when an 18 year old newbie brought the world no.3 to his knees! #USOpen2021
