Once in a while I get subconsciously reminded with the fact that pledis is suppressing Jun's career deliberately and I get extremely angry. I mean the proofs are right before our eyes. For Kpop and ent industry in general, exposure is everything. That's why you would see companies creating opportunities for their artists right from debut to be seen in domestic & international platforms, send them off for brand events, pay media to write articles about them. FOR EXPOSURE. And this is exactly pledis is taking away from Jun. Didn't let him walk the red carpet of Busan International Film Festival last year where many foreign and local media, famous celebrities were present, only let him go for the movie screening well knowing the exposure will be much lesser & limited to fandom spaces. Same with Shanghai International Film Festival, Weibo Night, Douyin Movie Night where the exposure and connections will be maxed out. No Korean variety show guesting despite knowing it has a wider reach among kpop fans locally & internationally. This is such a deliberate attempt at micro-aggresive control. Because they well know Jun's career ceiling is extremely high across multiple industry at the moment. And he's too valuable to let go as well. This is so dystopian to me.

if carats really claim to support all 13 members, shouldn't they also be frustrated seeing jun miss out on opportunities that are valuable for his acting career? but instead the response is always "group scheds should be prioritized" and that huihuis should just understand.. but we've seen these past few days that jun has no other visible schedule aside from practice..
[UPDATE]
Jun, role as HuFeng in The Shadow’s Edge, is nominated in Best Supporting Actor in The 38th Hundred Flowers Award🥳🥳 Votes are now opened and we’ll post the voting guide tonight.
Meanwhile, a phone number in China is compulsory to sign in for the vote. So if you have one, stay tuned for our guide.

So, pledis made Jun fly to Korea for GDA practice & performance, SVT'S LMF music show appearance, fancalls, BSS cbz reaction.. all these while filming BOTG and TWR. He performed at concert across multiple countries while filming GFB2 too. Made him take red eye flights when it was convenient for pledis. But, they draw the line when it comes to sending Jun on SIFF, WEIBO NIGHT, DOUYIN MOVIE NIGHT to promote as the male lead of his movie? Despite the dates not clashing with actual Caratland dates?? Some don't seem to have these scheduling conflict issues tho. What's the deal here?

Junhui has been nominated for the First round of votings for Best supporting Actor for HuFeng (the shadow's edge) at The Hundred Flowers award, one of the most prestigious film awards in china.
Director Ma mentioned Junhui again in their interview at the Douyin Movie Wonder Night today 🥺🥹
👤 one of the most painful things for an actor is being typecast into a certain kind of image/role at a particular stage of their career, but actually everyone has different sides to them
👤 what makes me especially happy (abt this project) is that whether it’s Aruna, Bai Ke, Bella or Junhui who couldn’t be here today due to work commitments, I believe audiences are going to see a completely different side of them, one they’ve never seen before
Congratulations to #JUN on his outstanding achievements at the 2026 Weibo Movie Night!
• Best Reputation Award – The Shadow's Edge
• Best Film Award – Blades of the Guardians
