Major Michelle Quintero was killed while attempting to reach her patrol vehicle during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

She was on her way to the into the Madison County Sheriff's Office when a damn overflowed, causing her to be swept downhill and hit by a tree that was moving quickly in the water.

Major Quintero had served with the Madison County Sheriff's Office for over 17 years. She is survived by her husband, son, daughter, two brothers, a sister, and a grandson.

Rest in peace, hero.

@TheExtremeMusi1 Yes!! 3 great album run LLT, Kick, X and a sound that was distinctive. Tons of hits but overall, great music. Saw them live 2x and they blew me away. Honestly thought they were already in until about a year ago.
