Yes, I understand that- but the damage that AI does to the planet isn't worth risking for making life slightly easier.

Why do areas like UTAH have their residents protesting against the building of data centers, yet they continue to build it anyways? It's very clear that the people aren't in their best interest anymore- it's what makes them the most money.

What i hate the most on top of all that is the environmental damage it produces and how forced it is all over the internet. I don't understand why people keep using it and how the government keeps approving these data centers even when residents protest against it. I know its all about money, but like- at what point will people realize we only have one planet and that money is temporary but the damage done is permanent?!
