I don’t think I’ve ever addressed this before. Still, for the record to clarify the person you quoted, you that amplified his message and anyone else making that assumption based on their own perspective or information, I was never a recharge card seller. I have never been involved in anything similar and even if I had, I see absolutely no reason to be ashamed of it.

In fact, I sometimes wish I had the opportunity back then, because I know people who started by selling recharge cards and went on to achieve great success, some even building companies that produced the cards or becoming partners with telecom companies. So?

So, Sadiq, you can share this response with them or simply keep it in mind that I have never sold recharge cards and if I had, I would never deny it, instead, I would be proud because there is nowhere it says that those who started by selling recharge cards cannot go on to succeed in life.

Do you understand what I am saying? The product on the pitch did not change by a single percentage point. What changed is the perceived value of the entire project, and it changed because one man put his name on it.

Sponsors do not buy results. They buy attention. Ronaldo brought Almería more attention in twenty four hours than their entire communications department could generate in a decade.
