Because of the pandemic, our class has had to wait 2 years for our graduation ceremony, but on Thursday I celebrated my PhD in Chemistry graduation at St Andrews. I’m sad to be leaving today, it’s been such a sunny and special week alongside my parents.

Today I celebrate my 27th birthday! We hosted a pot-luck dinner party to mark the occasion 🥳 The BD cake was an earl grey tea sponge with vanilla buttercream, specially home baked by my housemate Eloise. I also enjoyed opening the many gifts from friends and loved ones.
