Today I had the privilege of working with an incredibly motivated group of military personnel and volunteers.
Our primary objective is to build fully automatic engagement skills against aerial targets, because when every second counts, those skills save lives.
They gave it 100%.
I train both military personnel and civilians. The enemy evolves every day, so our skills must evolve even faster.

Back from the WORLD 🌍 SHOOT TEST EVENT 2026 IPSC Shotgun in Greece, where I accompanied @alexiliukhina as her coach, I went straight back to training military units in counter-drone operations without missing a beat.

Today I celebrate my 48th birthday! I sincerely thank my family, and all friends who are with me at this time. The best gift for me - is your support of an important cause. If anyone wants to congratulate me, u can support the anti-drone school.

Excellent analysis from Defense Tech @UALegionnaire for Ukraine on Ukraine’s emerging shotgun doctrine against FPV drones. Proud to see insights from GunBro Ukraine’s @IvanBear14 featured in the piece. Ivan and his work are supported by our community of @Volya4UA and @UASunflowerSeed , helping drive practical frontline innovation and training where it matters most.
1) Worth the read.

Oops, my bad. Oleksandra informs me she’s presently vice world champion but hopes to correct that in 🇩🇪 shortly. I didn’t do bad, but she was 3x as fast as me moving, shooting and reloading. She’s a machine
Thanks so much to @IvanBear14 and @alexiliukhina for hosting @duvimom and I at GunBro today. It’s not very often you get taught to use a shotgun to shoot drones by the current World Champion of Practical Shotgun along side 🇺🇦 army soldiers. Support them to save lives!
Last week was spent in the field.
I was invited to a closed demonstration of the latest defense solutions at one of the training grounds.
A lot of cool developments were presented nearby: from new UAVs to complex engineering solutions.
While others showed how to attack, we talked about how to defend ourselves and save lives. My stand on countering drone training became a point of heated discussions and exchange of experiences.
Key tactics ⬇️
Limited window: Miss the first attempt, and the situation changes fast.
Countermove: If you miss, break the line immediately. Move diagonally toward it to disrupt the pilot.
Golden rule: Every pause is a chance to reload—even one extra round can decide everything.
Which FPV drone is the most dangerous?
The one hunting you.
Which is easiest to shoot down?
The one flying straight at you.
Under adrenaline, you don’t rise to expectations - you fall to your training. In a fight, you act on muscle memory.
Some stats since the beginning of the year on the number of fighters and instructors who have completed my training in counter-UAV tactics and anti-drone shotgun:
January summary: 49 personnel, 14 days.
February summary: 101 personnel, 13 days.
Begging of March: 6p, 2d
1. Fighters of the Special Operations Center “A” before deployment (15 personnel, 3 days).
2. Fighters of the Foreign Legion of HUR (8 personnel, 3 days).
4. Instructor’s evaluation training, 138th Center (6 personnel, 3 days).
