I don't know if you're aware but the legal justice system in Brazil is woefully weak and rarely delivers results, no Brazilian trusts the legal system

If punishment were only possible in cases where the mistake could be undone, many errors and crimes would go unpunished because they are irreversible. This was about him deserving a punishment, not about the money

Just imagine how this will destroy the child, no slap he’s ever received will be as destructive and violent as the consequences of his own actions in the life of his kid

@motoks2 @nmr2776 Look for the few comments from Brazilians and you’ll understand what an embarrassment this "father" is, the money he’s celebrating having to pay for his son is worth almost nothing here in Brazil, 150R$/29$ to help care for a child is basically nothing here.

@Dannyersf @nmr2776 That’s not the point, the father was celebrating the fact that he only has to pay R$150/$29 in child support. The problem is that, in Brasil, that amount won't feed a child for more than a week, so the "father" isn't actually helping at all, that money is worth next to nothing.

@No151555 @nmr2776 Ele pediu para a justiça abaixar a pensão que ele da pra o filho para 150 reais/30 dólares, o problema é que no Brasil isso não é nada, vc não alimenta uma criança por uma semana com esse dinheiro, considerando todos os gastos então é pior ainda
