If I need to use PTO time, as I have before applying for the FMLA, I won’t say it’s for FMLA until I have no PTO to use, then I’ll take FMLA for non-paid time to protect my position. The PTO time will be seen as just days off.

@realDonaldTrump Mr President, The FMLA needs to be changed. I understand that FMLA. Employers are making employees use their PTO time and track that as FMLA, we need that to be optional not forced. Why else have FMLA to protect for a job if PTO time is for when you need off?
