YOU COULD MISS THE NEXT TRILLION-DOLLAR INDUSTRY WHILE LOOKING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.
When an autonomous robot, just one step away from success, suddenly sees a “military threat” in an ordinary plastic trash bin, or pours hundreds of liters of coffee into nowhere because of a simple sensor failure, one thing becomes painfully clear: the problem is no longer about building a robot.
The problem is building its brain.
The era of clumsy hardware and fragile code is gradually fading away. In its place comes the real revolution of Physical AI, where the value is shifting from the hardware itself to the intelligence that allows machines to understand the world around them, make decisions, and act safely within it.
And the most interesting part is that the next multi-trillion-dollar fortunes may not belong to the companies building factories and manufacturing millions of robots.
The biggest opportunity may be in the software powering these machines, neural firmware, synthetic training data, safety systems, remote control, and the infrastructure that allows thousands of autonomous machines to operate as one system.
Software once ate the digital world.
Now it has the opportunity to digest the physical one.
And this is where the biggest opportunity emerges: you may no longer need to build a billion-dollar factory to enter this industry.
You may only need to build the brain that runs on someone else’s hardware.
While most people are looking at robots as finished products, much more forward-thinking companies are already building the intelligence infrastructure for the entire physical world.
And when that infrastructure becomes the standard, we may discover that the biggest fortunes were never made by those who built the robots, but by those who taught them how to think.
The dog sat on my laptop during a meeting and this is why I can't have nice things. Just finished a short story collection and it broke me in the best possible way.
