Today I paid my groceries with using paybox by @moonpay

A few notes on the launch of PayBox.
The first real crypto ux breakthrough was browser extensions. They were not perfect initially (odd ux until recently with side panels) but they brought signing to the dominant runtime: web browsers. Dominant as in itโs where most user activity was done.
Second was mobile but app switching between browser and signer didnโt always work well and we had to put a browser (the dominant runtime) inside the signing app / wallet. The UX improved to a point that most day to day retail signing today happens on mobile.
The third one I think will be the PayBox model (that we just shipped at @moonpay): embed signing into the emerging dominant runtime: LLM chats. Itโs simpler UI with the familiar chat interface driven by user intents and guardrails.
This is not the final form but possibly the beginning of a new shift in signing ux because there is a new dominant runtime.
