I'm ready for the break! I think we all need it. It seems like this pandemic is taking it's toll on all of us. I wish people would take it more seriously too as others mentioned. Stay safe everyone and finish strong for the school semester! #rhub305
I feel I have been behind lately, but I know we are almost done. I enjoy this professional development packet. It is getting me excited for when I do actually apply for the job I want!!! #rhub305
After today's class, I have a better understanding of the statement goals. I liked the Ted talk today as well! It was really inspiring and also helped me to write more about my goals.
The job I will apply for is a receptionist in a clinic or hospital. OR a speech language pathologist assistant position. I'm not too sure yet!! #RHUB305
@CarlosF64117541 I agree with your statement. I think the only example that was helpful was the CV and learning what it was. Seeing other people's examples of their resume was more useful info for me to have an idea in what direction I want to go in. #RHUB305
I have looked up examples in the past and currently for this class to see if I need to make any changes to it. Eventually I would like to change the format to something different, but since I don't have that much job switching; it's neatly structured on the paper. #RHUB305
#RHUB305 I created this resume when I was in high school because that was one of our projects. I have been using it since then and updating what is current throughout the years. It is short and straight to the point of what I have done.
I also enjoyed reading the advice for undergraduates because one day I will have to apply for a graduate school because of my major. This article and the other one as well are very helpful and good resources to look back upon.

It's nice to see there's a guide for people who have Asperger's because I worked with a student who had it and this would definitely become helpful for him in Highschool.
I liked the checklist of the resume included in Barbara Bissonnette's article. I also saw an example of a cover letter in there which is always helpful too, because I too have to refer back to examples as well. #RHUB305
After reading the article, "Strategies for Navigating during COVID-19" I found it interesting what the article points out. A couple of days ago, I wanted to look for a new job because I work with kids and wanted to go somewhere closer to my field in the pediatric hospital setting
And after researching for some new jobs and reading this article, it has made me excited that there will be open positions soon at some point. We have to be ready to interview and get on track even with Covid. Everything will be okay! #RHUB305
