COD scene is so chalked with audio cheese, cronus, hackers, SBMM, trash map design, three months to open up ranked, that I might just play Gears this year instead lmao
@geekypastimes@XBOX Elite was ergonomically my favourite controller ever but the drift issues and bumper issues and being inexplicably board locked at 125hz made the jump to Gamesir a lot easier. It's just impossible to justify buying a controller without TMR sticks at this point.
@ItsHapa In 2026 there's zero reason to need DS4 if you play legit. It's just a bad look more than anything. Back in the day you legit needed DS4 to use a Playstation controller on PC due to lack of compatibility but thats been fixed for many, many years now.
@Milkk_Money@Parasite I have no horse in the race but I think it's funny how some can be found in cheating discords and be allowed to play in a tourney the next day for money lmao. DS4 can be used nefariously and in 2026 it really serves no purpose if you want to play legit, so it's just a bad look.
@WestinTV Live service + SBMM was the death of gaming. I'd go back to the days of $15 map packs in a second. Higher quality, guaranteed content not meant to nickel and dime you at every turn.
@ItsHapa My biggest issue is that COD servers are already low tick, so server culling will make the already terrible servers even worse unless they up the tick rate which they have so far not bothered to invest in. Walls will still exist even with this, it will just be harder to execute.
I have no idea why these guys REFUSE to implement DMA checks like every other vendor on the market. Vanguard, EAC, Battleye, ACE. Just to make things a tiny bit harder for the cheat makers.
Few things ruin a great match faster than wondering whether an opponent earned the win or saw you through a wall.
Wallhacks give cheaters information they were never meant to have. With Modern Warfare 4, we’re introducing a new way to fight back: Server Culling.
Here’s how it works:
@FoolyCOD Once launch day hits, we won't hear a peep about Ricochet again, nor see any of these videos until coincidentally October 2027 a few weeks before launch. Where they will hope everyone once again forgets how hacked out their game truly is.
