@mom_to_c@raising_ronan Same here. Pink and bows and she is still a he. I thought it was because she had little hair. Now it's grown she still gets called a boy and told thst she'll be breaking girls hearts... π
@NonMaternalMum Urgh... I get that. A friend who knows about our problems and that our baby was ICSI asked that. I said we might not be able to have another and she said "but you must let your baby be a big sister". Like I'm not trying hard enough π
@S_Infertility @herestoarainbow People with babies defo lie... particularly about sleep. Well that's what I console myself with when I'm still up 7 times a night 8 months in... π¬π x
@hopefulmummy83 They are little primal beings that want to be near you. I could put my baby down for the first 3 months. Now she tries to wriggle away at every chance! Try and keep lots of snacks and water near you. And I second the going to the loo with them on your knee. Sending sleep vibes x
@Iberia_en I flew MED to MAD on 1 March. My stroller got lost. Iberia desk were rude and said to claim at home. I have filled in every form online and NO ONE has replied. I have spent 4 hours on the phone but keep being told without a PIR/reference code I can't have it sent to me
@alwaysanaunt In the same boat with an erratic 7.5 m/old. Not sure you could have planned in advance as babies are random! :) sending love as sleepless nights with an over tired babies are rough x
ps I go to heaps of groups & EVERYONE has sleep issues. I'm not sure anyone has cracked this:) x
@BootstrapCook I've had a rubbish day but reading this thread has totally cheered me up. Jack you are lovely and kind, & you have inspired so much kindness between others. Love it x
(Not sure what I'd buy for Β£50. I'd be open to anything that i can use while carrying a clingy 7 month old bub)
Father in law just told me that I'm finally losing the baby weight (I weigh less than I did pre-pregnancy). That follows him telling me on Christmas day during dinner that my labour was the most embarrassing moment of my year...
Is it a bad idea to tell him to f*** off?
@S_Infertility You've been through such an amazing amount. It is a wonderful outcome :) so glad you're feeling better and your little one is doing well.
There are tough days (we are 7.5 months in and I blubbed a lot yesterday!) but you do fall into a groove xx
@InsideIvf I asked to see the counsellor at my clinic and was told that never happened and people were normally referred... I'm a big fan of talking therapies but this counsellor was hopeless. She kept telling us that even with a BFP the baby could still die(!). I went elsewhere after that!
@WheresMyStork@blendedmomma We are in the same boat. Finger food - like steamed carrot sticks, brocolli and raw cucumber, are shoved in her mouth. But she is not bothered about purees. I'll just keep offering food a few times a day until she wants it... Hoping she won't want to be breastfed forever?! π¬π
@ExpediaUK Ive tweet'd you, DM'd you & emailed you constantly for 4 days. All i get told is that you are sorry and are trying to contact the hotel. That doesn't help us at all. I've spent hundreds on alternative accom and food, and my 6 m/o baby is still sleeping on the floor of a hostel
@ExpediaUK I leave the city tomorrow. I was meant to stay there for 4 nights & we've had to stay elsewhere this entire time. You "not being able to contact the hotel" does not help in the slightest. Why contact them? They have no room? We are the ones stranded here. Your duty lay with us.
@ExpediaUK Any news? I'm seriously out of pocket and staying in less than adequate accommodation. I'm very disappointed in the lack of care shown to us and our baby
@ExpediaUK Like i said, the hotel had no rooms for us so we had to dash about and find somewhere else. Paying double for a party hostel, that is loud and has no cot, is not ideal. And just to reiterate: the hotel we booked via expedia were rude and did not care
