This concert was a lot of fun. I started to lose my voice halfway through and kept powering through to the end, Down Down Down was a great end. I think that all things considered it was a great show and I had a lot of fun :)

I’m a former LMG employee (main channel writer) that went the independent YouTuber route. The honest truth is that my time at LMG was positive but my solo career and ambitions were getting in the way of being an effective employee (on both ends) and I was personally better off working on my own stuff and progressing more that way

I imagine that the reasons a lot (but not all) of my peers that have departed leave or otherwise are similar. LTT is generally a nice place to work overall for the majority of staff but a place with so many driven creative people isn’t going to have a permanent retention over anybody. A lot of those of us that have worked there are creatives and passionate tech folks that just want to make videos, and a lot of us have our own creative ambitions that might not always align with LTT. That doesn’t mean that there’s any beef or anything, it’s just what happens when creative people work with other creative people.

I never had to sign an NDA. I just personally had a rather normal/uninteresting experience in terms of what I have to say about it. It was a job, it just didn’t end up making sense for me or for LMG as a long term career. But my relationship with the company is positive, I even still have a floatplane creator account.

I think a lot of people forget that there’s many reasons people may depart from an employer and a lot of them are quite mundane and not that dramatic haha
