@HighYieldHustle 4% rule was designed to take 4% and have the rest of the appreciate to make up that loss and inflation. S&P grows an avg of 12%. Some funds like SPYI pay 11.59%. Its ok as long as the base stock price is flat or rising. But on total return SPY outperforms SPYI.
