They communicate either by telepathy, or they communicate with each other by scent, and have to learn other cultures symbols to speak to anyone outside their species. Idk which I prefer yet.

The cyclops' don't have a mouth.
They eat by photosynthesis, but since it's an overwhelming process, it's hard for them to concentrate, they wear clothing to slow it down.
It's common to see them nude at night or indoors, as it's not a cultural taboo.
