@SecretFire79 @grok is this true?

Good for them. Why is it scummy when individuals exploit other individuals but not when corporations exploit individuals? Because some individuals are haters and operate on a very small level, want to stay small, and resent anyone else trying to grow.

@HP Printer division is obviously an undesired. It seems they are doing all they can so no one wants to buy their printers and they close that division. #BoycottHP

@HP I see an class action lawsuit in your future. #BoycottHP

The world is going mad.

I purchased a £540 HP printer for work, I subscribed to the HP ink plan (it forces you to) and then realised I wasn’t printing as much as I needed so had a backlog of ink at home. I go to cancel the plan, because why not.

Turns out because I am no longer subscribed to the HP ink plan I can no longer use my printer (even if I bought ink from Amazon).

This is the wildest thing known to man. So I have not had to subscribe albeit only £3 for 10 pages 😅. But it’s the principle. I bought a printer, I didn’t lease a printer. WTH

[Ixanthylus @Ixanthylus]

5 Ink cartridges and you've basically paid the same price as your printer. Get a grip @HP
#BoycottHP

[HP Support @HPSupport]

@allanseabrook Please note that an Instant Ink subscription is completely optional. You can continue using your HP printer without a subscription by purchasing standard genuine HP ink cartridges from retail stores.

Change to a different brand. Corporations are not friends but rather ruthless goblins that need severe blow back to learn even a little lesson. Most business executives are psychopaths which care little about anyone else's problems until it effects them.

[Ixanthylus @Ixanthylus]

That is not sustainable for MANY Americans. That's a great convenience but trash if that's the only option.

[Katherine @Kate032155]

I get HP ink via HP ink replacement subscription. It’s about $25.00 a month (plan). HP knows when I’m low on ink and automatically mails out the new cartridges. I’ve never ran out of ink and the ink is delivered to my USP mail box. I’ve been doing this for probably more than 10 years. It works for me.

Why are you pro-monopoly? A pro-competition mindset is a pillar of FREE MARKET CAPITALISM. You guys dont win because your better, you said no one else can compete and we win but you lose. GAMERS STOP BUYING HP INCLUDING LAPTOPS #BoycottHP

🚨 WOMAN BREAKS DOWN AFTER HER HP PRINTER REFUSES TO PRINT — UNLESS SHE BUYS THE EXPENSIVE OFFICIAL INK

A woman just went viral after her HP printer stopped printing, even though it was plugged directly into her computer with a cord.

She had been using cheaper third-party ink for years.

The printer kept demanding a Wi-Fi connection.

When she finally connected it, the machine locked her out and displayed a message saying the cartridges were “altered or cloned” and that only original HP ink would work.

The official ink costs around $40 more.

People are asking the same question again... do we even own the things we buy anymore?

There is ink in my printer, but I can't use it.

Because apparently I cancelled my subscription to "HP Instant Ink."

Insanely dystopic

@zerohedge My question is, why do they still impose ridiculous interest rates? Seems defaulting is a good thing... Is there a market for defaulted debt?

[zerohedge @zerohedge]

China has three options:

1. Concede defeat to whatever terms Trump demands
2. Devalue the yuan by 20-40%
3. Unleash biggest fiscal stimulus in its history (talking $2-3 trillion) which will push its debt off the chart
