Infuriated by the WSWS's exposure of their groveling endorsement of their "comrade" Delcy Rodriquez's alliance with Trump administration, the general secretary of the Communist Party of Kenya, Mwaivu Kaluka, has posted a hysteria denunciation of Trotsky and Trotskyism.

In the most self-discrediting passage of his diatribe, Kaluka writes: "The [the WSWS] have called us 'STALINISTS' and 'MAOISTS' in bold letters as if these are things to be ashamed of. We embrace these labels with pride."

With these words, Kaluka declares with unrestrained enthusiasm for the monstrous crimes of the Stalinist regime: the terror of 1936-40 which murdered Lenin's closest comrades in the leadership of the October Revolution and hundreds of thousands of Marxist cadre, the betrayal of revolutionary struggles throughout the world, and finally -- as Trotsky predicted -- the engineering of the liquidation of the Soviet Union and the restoration of capitalism.

Trotsky once described Stalinism as the "syphilis of the labor movement." This infection persists among contemporary Stalinist organizations.
