Maybe I'm doing too much but why I do I have a strange feeling Sidney Crosby was apart of the group that selected Celebrini as captain behind the scenes.

I say this because:
1. Sid took longer than usual to commit to the tournament.
2. If Sid is on the team there's no logical way anyone takes the C over Sid.
3. They announced the captains and the very next day Sid announces he's in.

I think they're setting up Celebrini to be the future of team Canada for the next 20 years.
