i think the purest form of love is just wanting someone to notice life with you. "taste this. look at that. hear this song." again and again. until you can't imagine noticing life without them.
You need to be slowmaxxing. You need to be reading long, fat books. You need to be making 48-hour chocolate chip cookies. You need to spend hours watching wildlife, you need to spend 15+ min making your coffee. You need to breathe in and breathe out. You need to be slowwwwwwwwww.
i love when people do photo dumps. like yes, please show me the mundane, like light passing through your window, a sign on the road you liked, a crying selfie, a bowl of what you cooked.
i believe in re-reading and re-watching your favourite books & movies at different stages of your life. the plot never changes, but your perspective does.
smth so uniquely depressing about watching the women around you succumb to and eventually perpetrate patriarchal values and traditions, give up their dreams and resent it, yet tell the everyone that it was the only choice. and equally haunting is the idea that this could be you.
society expecting women to earn well, do 80% of household chores, look nice, give births, raise kids, look after the family and most importantly be polite, i mean really ??
