During my WeLearn journey, I have found it interesting to learn more about the uses of social media, that a nurse can benefit from. As well as looking at the positives and negatives! #PUNC22
I feel very passionate about this topic, I believe quality of life is important when living and dying. This article made me specifically think about this topic relating to people who have experienced a stroke #PUNC22

Facebook has positives and negatives like all social media. I personally deactivated my Facebook a while ago as I found there was lots of misinformation, but I also appreciate it's a great way to connect with others and there is accurate information shared #PUNC22
I found this blog today through carrot learning and I find it interesting because of their exploration into the link between moderate-severe midlife anxiety and dementia, finding that it does make an impact on someone's cognition in later life! #PUNC22

I think it's great to use social media to share health information and professionals to socialise but as Ferguson et al (2013l wrote 'the risk and benefits should be debated' as I agree there are issues surrounding social media and it's health information coverage! #PUNC22#DAY7
'Self and Identity: Raising Undergraduate students Awareness on Their Digital Footprints' - I found this article interesting and makes an important point, that even though a lot of undergraduates feel digitally confident, it doesn't mean it should be without guidance. #PUNC22
It's important to take care of your digital footprint! For now and your future. Ensuring it privacy settings are up to date and being aware of what you are posting. #PUNC22
