Remember Hatzolah? The Jewish volunteer EMS?

A follower reached out to me after his 19 year old brother was hit by an unmarked Hatzolah "emergency vehicle" smart-car speeding through Brooklyn without sirens, launching him 30 feet into the air.

Over 1 year later, after suffering a massive head injury his brother is still in a coma...

I could barely find any media coverage of this story, and I wanted to share it further.

🇺🇸 Tyler Oliveira went digging into a federal program meant to help poor kids get internet access and found a story that gets uglier the deeper you go.

A consultant named Richard Bernstein pleaded guilty to taking more than $100,000 in kickbacks from the E-Rate program.

Ten weeks later, consultants sharing his last name had filed more than 140 new applications asking for another $3.3 million across 13 states.

And this apparently wasn’t the first rodeo.

In an earlier case, seven people tied to the same program pleaded guilty in a $14 million fraud scheme involving fake bids, inflated prices and equipment that allegedly didn’t even exist.

The wildest part? One of the people from that earlier case was still filing applications years after the FBI raids.

Government anti-fraud system working beautifully.

🇺🇸 And the deeper Tyler Oliveira goes, the harder it gets to blame everything on “consultants.”

He says 10 of the 15 schools he checked had no consultant listed at all.

The administrators themselves signed the applications under penalty of perjury.

One school was billing roughly $17,000 a month for internet across four locations, with 90% of the tab going to the government.

The pricing looked wildly above market, and the paperwork showed single-bid contracts.

If the schools signed the forms themselves, who exactly was “fooled” here?

And yes: if it's not clear enough by now, a large majority of self-described "conservatives", opposed to "waste", "fraud", and "abuse" have no principles.
