Nobody is rich enough!just pray life doesn't test you with a bigger problem than your bank account balance.

Nobody knows tomorrow.
Billionaire wealth is mostly unrealised.
If Dangote tried to sell his stake in one go, the price would collapse before he finished selling. The $28.5bn only exists at current prices, in small quantities.
Your N2m in a money market fund is more liquid, per naira, than his $28.5bn.
Paper wealth and spendable wealth are different animals.
Dividends in Nigeria attract 10% withholding tax, deducted at source, and for individuals it is a final tax.
Declared dividend of N5 per share on 20,000 shares is N100,000 gross. You receive N90,000.
So a quoted 12.5% dividend yield is really 11.25% in your hand.
Every dividend yield you see advertised is a gross number. Always convert it to net before comparing it to anything.
Every investment does one of four things.
YOU LEND
Treasury bills, bonds, commercial papers, fixed deposits, money market funds
YOU OWN A BUSINESS
Stocks, index funds, ETFs, mutual funds
YOU OWN SOMETHING PHYSICAL
Real estate, REITs, gold, farmland
YOU BUILD IT
Your business, your skills, your pension
Crypto sits on its own.
Lending is safe and slow. Owning is faster. Building pays most and fails most.
Start with lending.
NGX vs. NASD OTC
NGX is Nigeria's main stock exchange, where large, established companies are listed. It has stricter listing requirements, higher liquidity, and more active trading.
NASD OTC is an over-the-counter market for public companies not listed on NGX. It has more flexible listing rules but generally lower trading volumes and liquidity.
An older man once told me, "The richest people don't always move. Sometimes they just move their money."
That stuck with me.
If I already had ₦30m, I'd first ask how to make it generate income.
At 32% APY, that's roughly ₦800k coming in every month (about ₦9.6m a year), without packing bags or starting life from zero.
Sometimes the first investment shouldn't be a Visa. It should be your money.
Money should be working while you're sleeping.
I started investing in mutual funds in 2018 because I wanted to buy a new phone. 😂
30,000 naira monthly. My first month interest was less than 100 naira. I literally laughed at myself. What kind of investment is this?
But I didn't withdraw. I just kept depositing. When my income grew, I increased my deposit. 50,000 monthly. Then 100,000. Now 150,000 every single month.
Today that investment generates almost 200,000 naira every single month in interest alone. My balance is now well over 10 million naira.
The phone I was saving for in 2018 probably cost around 150,000 naira. That same amount is now what my investment pays me every single month without me doing anything.
By next year I am increasing my monthly deposit to 200,000 naira. In 5 years, my monthly interest alone will be approximately 600,000 naira. Still without doing any work.
From saving for a phone to almost 200k monthly passive income. Same platform. Same principle. Just time, consistency and the discipline to never touch it.
Start for any reason. Stay for the result.
Above all, love God.
@the_beardedsina Jumia is far better than temu, they're not on the same level.
Jumia has pickup stations all over the country, how many does temu have?😒.
You just wanna farm engagement.
Baseless competition
Your savings account pays ~7–8%.
Your bank invests that same money in Federal Government Treasury Bills at ~17.7%.
You can buy those T-bills yourself.
How to start:
• Go to your bank or a licensed investment app
• Ask for Treasury bills
• Minimum is ₦100,000
• Choose the 364-day tenor for the best rate
• You get capital plus interest at maturity
Note: 10% withholding tax now applies on the interest. Inflation is 15.91%.
The real gain is thinner after tax, but still better than losing quietly in savings.
In 2011, I was a young girl hungry to learn investing and started doing so with little amounts
Now, I’m a seasoned investor and money coach, who has hundreds of thousands of dollars invested.
keep going. ✨
@Oma_0jo Nice one, first Baby steps are always cautious.
Keep rocking gurl
Invest and leave it alone for a long while, checking it now and then is unnecessary. Mmf doesn't work that way it works with time.
